According to China’s Ministry of Information Industry (www.mii.gov.cn), the Chinese legislation on control of hazardous substances in electronic products was officially released on November 6, 2006. More legal documents are as follows:

• Management Method on Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products
• Limitation Requirements for Hazardous Substance in Electronic Information Products
• Labeling Requirements for Hazardous Substance in Electronic Information Products
• Testing Method for Hazardous Substance in Electronic Information Products

As requested by “Management Method”, since March 1, 2007, all electronic and information products exported into China must be verified in compliance with the requirements of China RoHS before importing.
