Update of National Standards for CCC Certification:

Household and Similar Electrical Appliances

As shown in the No. 24 Bulletin of CNCA* (2008-08-19), 4 National Standards issued for Household and Similar Electrical Apppliances: GB4706.2-2007 (Electric Irons), GB4706.15-2008 (Appliances for Hair or Skin Care), GB4706.23-2007 (Room Heaters), GB4706.27-2008 (Fan) will be implemented from 2009-01-01 in order to replace all old versions.

Before 2009-01-01, new CCC applications for the four kinds of products can be submitted in terms of either old versions or new versions. However, all relevant CCC Certificates issued under old standards must be updated to new versions before 2010-01-01. Otherwise, those CCC Certificates will be suspended firstly and then withdrawn from 2010-04-01.
