Market Surveillance for Product -
Storage Water Heaters - 2008
The result of a nationwide market surveillance organized by AQSIQ* recently was published on 2008-05-19, which showed that the qualified rate was 99.3% among 40 kinds of inspected products according to National Standards: GB4706.1-1998, GB4706.12-2006 and GB/T20289-2006.
Main nonconformity concentrates on:
- internal wiring;
- terminals for external conductors
- provision for earthing.
Measures adopted (partial) by the Administrative Department:
- Corrective Actions must be taken in a limited period and will be supervised by local administrative departments.
