Self-Ballasted Fluorescent Light - 2009

A municipal market surveillance* for Self-Ballasted Fluorescent Light was performed in Shanghai during the second quarter of 2009 in accordance with National Standards GB 16844-1997, GB 17625.1-2003, GB 19044-2003 and GB/T 17263-2002.

Totally 40 batches of types of products were inspected and qualified products were 32 batches. The qualification rate is approx.80.0%. The nonconforming items mainly concentrate on 4 items:

1) Lamp Power;
2) Lumen maintain;
3) Color Tolerance;
4) Harmonic content;
5) MEPS;

Corrective Actions to the abvoe nonconforming items must be taken in a limited period and will be supervised by local administrative departments.
