Market Surveillance for Product -

plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes - 2008

A municipal market surveillance* for the plug and socket was performed in shanghai during the first quarter of 2008 in accordance with National Standards GB2099.1-1996 and GB1002-1996.

Totally 29 types of products were inspected and qualified products were 27 types. The qualification rate is approx. 93.1%. The nonconforming items mainly concentrate on the resistance of insulating material to abnormal heat, to fire and to tracking.
