Market Surveillance for Product -
Micro Audio System - 2008
A municipal market surveillance* for Micro Audio System was performed in Shanghai during the first quarter of 2008 in accordance with National Standards GB 8898-2001, GB 13837-2003, GB 17625.1-2003, GB/T 14277-1993, GB/T 15860-1995 and SJ/T 10730-1997.
Totally 17 types of products were inspected and qualified products were 10 types. The qualification rate is approx.58.8%. The nonconforming items mainly concentrate on 4 items:
1) Marking;
2) Protection against electric shock;
3) Clearance and creeapge distances;
4) EMC.
Measures adopted (partial) by the Administrative Department:
- Withdrawal from the market
- Corrective Actions must be taken in a limited period and will be supervised by local administrative departments.
