Household and similar electrical appliances for skin or hair care - 2008

A municipal market surveillance* for appliances for skin or hair care was performed in Shanghai during the first quarter of 2008 in accordance with National Standards GB4706.1-1998 and GB4706.15-2003.

Totally 36 types were inspected and qualified products were 28 types. The qualification rate is approx.77.8%. The nonconforming items mainly concentrate on 6 items: marking and instructions; power input and current; abnormal operation; supply connection and external flexible cords; terminals for external conductors.
