Electric Iron for household and similar purposes - 2009

A municipal market surveillance* for electric iron was performed in Shanghai during the last quarter of 2009 in accordance with National Standards GB4706.1-2005 and GB4706.2-2007.

Totally 22 batches were inspected and qualified products were 20 batches. The qualification rate is approx.90.9%. The nonconforming items mainly concentrate on 2 items:

- marking and instructions
- abnormal operation;
