A municipal market surveillance* for Household and similar electrical appliances for Appliances for heating liquid was performed in Shanghai during the third quarter of 2009 in accordance with National Standards GB4706.1-1998 and GB4706.119-2004. Totally 94 batchs of products were inspeced and the qualification rate was 80 %. The nonconformities found concentrated on the following items:

- Supply Connection and external flexible cords
- Power input and current
- Abnormal operation
- Moisture resistance
