A market surveillance* for Room Heater was performed in Shanghai during the final quarter of 2008 in accordance with relevant Standards GB 4706.1-1998, GB 4706.13-2004, GB 4706.19-2004 and GB 9684-1988.

Totally 12 batches were inspected and the qualification rate is 83.3%. The nonconforming items mainly concentrate on 6 items.

3) Supply connection and external flexible cords
4) Provision for earthing
5) limit of heavy metal
